Q) Why does KC Les Bar (KCLB) require a membership application and monthly subscription charge?
A) KC Les Bar (KCLB) uses the membership application to verify age (18+) and to ensure that you are who you say you are (queer women, nonbinary, and transfolx only). The monthly subscription charges ($2.99, $4.99 or $6.99 as members choose) are to cover costs such as website, storage unit, venue rental, equipment, and paying staff a fair wage. This also allows us to be considered a private group. You’ll get a membership card at the first event you attend. Only active members are allowed to attend events.
Q) How much are KC Les Bar events?
A) The tickets for each event will be like a cover charge. They will be $10 through Eventbrite. In the future, KC Les Bar will offer an optional VIP ticket for $20 which will come with certain perks. Beyond the ticket, all money spent is up to you. There will be alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks for sale. Some events will have food for sale. There may be vendors at some events.
